Disturbed is an American heavy metal band based in Chicago, Illinois. The band has sold over a 10 million albums globally, released three consecutive number-one albums, and also received a nomination for a Grammy. Disturbed has a huge fan following all over the world and it is classified as one of the biggest and most popular nu metal bands of recent times.

This rock band was formed in 1996, when Dan Donegan (guitar), Mike Wengren (drums), and Fuzz (bass) joined hands with David Draiman (singer). The band was initially known as Brawl before Draiman joined the band. After being renamed, the band recorded several demos and in March, 2000, released their first album “The Sickness” which ranked 22 at the Billboard charts. The song “Down with the Sickness” from the album became an instant hit and was also featured in the film, Dawn of the Dead (2004).

The other albums released by the band include: Believe (2002), Ten Thousand Fists (2005) and Indestructible (2008). All these albums debuted number one on the Billboard 200. Their fifth album “Asylum” is due in 2010. Some of their best songs include: “Ten thousand fists”, “Inside The Fire”, “Indestructible”, “The Curse”, “I’m Alive” and “Fear”.
